Policy

  • Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard, personal checks, and wire transfers for merchandise shipped within the continental U.S. borders. All checks must clear prior to shipping. We will ship only to the verified address of the card being used by the Customer, and we require signature upon delivery receipt. We accept only wire transfers for merchandise shipped outside the continental U.S. borders. This info will be given as needed.

  • Shipping: Atlanta Premier Guitars offers shipping by United States Postal Service Priority Mail, & UPS. Shipping and insurance are the sole responsibility of the customer, including all insurance claims.
  • Returns: Please read carefully in its entirety. All instore sales are final. Atlanta Premier Guitars offers a 48 hour approval period from receipt of delivery on all shipments with the exceptions of (1.) Layaways, (2.) Special Orders,  (3.) Items shipped outside the U.S. borders. (4) All Amplifier sales.  No refunds will be issued on Amplifier sales, Layaway Items, Special Ordered Items or Merchandise shipped outside the continental borders of the United States.  For items shipped within the US borders we will offer an exchange or refund minus: (1.) Freight and insurance to the Customer from Atlanta Premier Guitars and from the Customer returning merchandise to Atlanta Premier Guitars, which are totally the responsibility of the customer, and (2.) all returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee. To return an item the following 4 criteria must be met: 1. Call us within the 48 hour approval period for a return authorization code. We will not accept returns without this code. 2. Repackage the instrument including all original blank warranty cards, and all other items originally shipped with the instrument. The instrument must be returned to us in the same condition as originally shipped to the customer. 3. The Customer is responsible for all freight, including insuring the return package at full retail price. All insurance claims are the sole responsibility of the Customer. 4. Atlanta Premier Guitars must be notified with a shipment tracking number within 72 hours of initial receipt by the Customer. This is giving the 48 hour approval time plus an additional day to arrange for shipment back to us. A refund will be issued only after the returned merchandise is received in original undamaged condition and inspected by Atlanta Premier Guitars.
  • Warranties: All expressed warranties of new instruments are issued from the manufacturer of the instrument.  That being said I will never tell a customer who buys a new instrument from me to put it in a box and ship it back to the manufacturer. If you have a problem, bring the instrument back to me and I will be the mediator between you and the manufacturer.  All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.   

    Layaway:We offer a 60 day layaway program with a 20% deposit required at time of   sale.  All layaway items are removed as active sales inventory and stored in an   

     Environmentally controlled room.  The layaway item must be paid in full by the end of

     the 60 day time period. Any items and or deposits with a balance not fully paid for within the agreed upon 60 day period Will be  forfeited and returned as active sales inventory. No deposits are refunded on layaways.

    Deposit Requirements on Special Orders and Guitars already on order by Atlanta Premier Guitars: Instruments Special Ordered by Atlanta Premier Guitars for a customer will require a 50% deposit with the remaining balance paid in full within 10 days of Atlanta Premier Guitars receiving the instrument. An example of this would be a Martin Custom Shop order. Instruments already on order by Atlanta Premier Guitars that a customer wants to pre-purchase will require a 20% deposit with the balance due in full within 10 days of Atlanta Premier guitars receiving the instrument. An example of this would be a Froggy Bottom already on order by Atlanta Premier Guitars and in the building process already. No deposits are refunded once a guitar is ordered or placed on hold as a sold item.
