Description: This Takamine TAN 16C Model is from their Top of The Line, Professional Series and is Handcrafted in Japan by artisans with decades of experience. Dreadnaught size with a cutaway for up the neck access.This instrument features; Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Solid East Indian Rosewood Back & Sides, Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard & rosewood bridge. True multi-colored Abalone Rosette and fingerboard dots. Gold Tuners with Amber Buttons. The top bracing is scalloped X design adding to the tone and projection. Nut width @ 1 11/16, Scale length of 25.5”. Great playability, low action in the upper frets. Cool Tube Preamp! Yep! A real 12AU7 preamp tube (well protected) inside the preamp , running @ 3 volts the tube itself warms up 2 degrees, but the tone of this guitar is warmed up a lot more than that! Takes all the sharp edges off and sorry to say it again,giving it a “warm” tone. Great for live or recording! The guitar is also a great Takamine Acoustically, unplugged. Takamine Hardshell Case.
