Description: On Sale $1849. ! A very nice 1981 Original Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony. The bindings and plastic have aged well with a yellowed patina. Original pots with the metal cover, Original very desirable Tim Shaw early PAF Reissue Humbucker pickups, Original Gibson Tulip tuning gears, tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece. Some nicks, pings, & dings and the back has blemish areas where it appears to have laid on a strap for a long period of time and had a reaction. Pickguard crack by the screw but the guard looks too good for me to change. Recent pro refret. The fingerboard is in excellent condition. No breaks, cracks or body/neck/ headstock repairs. The neck profile is somewhere between; not quite a 60’s slim nor 50’s chunky. Overall a very good looking, great playing & sounding Gibson Les Paul Standard with the original case.
