Description: The Breedlove Guitar Company has been hand-building high-end American Made Guitars in Bend Oregon since 1990. With their sleek design headstock, body shapes, cutaways, and pinless bridge, they have created a “modern” look yet maintaining old world building traditions. This Northwest Classic Model is from their top- of-the- line Master Class Series. It is a soft cutaway Concert size with a Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Beautiful Solid Myrtlewood Back & Sides, and Walnut Binding on the body front, back, endstrip, heelcap & neck. Ebony fingerboard & bridge. Breedlove describes the tonality of Myrtlewood as having the bass of Rosewood and the trebles of Maple. The Rosette is of abalone and the fingerboard inlays are of Northwest Tribal Totems. Specs: Bone nut & saddle, nut @ 1 ¾”, Gold Gotoh keys, Gold strap button & endjack, body length 20”, Depth 3 5/8”, lower bout width 15”, waist 9”, upper bout 11 ¼” and a scale length of 25.5”. This instrument has an LR Baggs Duel Source pickup system. The condition is excellent-mint with a few very small pings if you look hard. Fingerstyle Masters Ed Gerhard and Richard Gilewitz each played a Breedlove Master Class when they did concerts & seminars @ my shop. (Separately) Richard played a Myrtlewood Breedlove.
